Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Destroyer Theodor Riedel Blue Sailor’s Cap Newly Listed HMCS York in February 1956(Kriegsmarine Tellermtze). A Kriegsmarine Zerstrer (Destroyer) Theodor Riedel blue sailors cap, constructed of dark navy blue wool. It features reinforced side walls, and retains a fully intact tally ribbon, constructed of black rayon and bearing a machine embroidered gold bullion wire inscription of ZERSTRER THEODOR RIEDEL in Fraktur script. The ribbon is affixed in place with four dark navy blue threaded bands distributed around the circumference.
